My sister and I were living in a block of flats in Sydney St E1. There were two flats, and one day luckily we went to the shelter because a bomb hit the flats. We worked in a tailoring factory. When we returned there was a machine from the factory on the bed with employment cards. There was petty cash scattered on top of the roof with the box next to it and all the material from the factory was hanging like a flag.
The machines got blown right up to the second floor, it was amazing.
