I was conscripted into the army in September 1939.
Relating to my secret knowledge of radar I was not demobilised in June 1946 but released under the terms of class Z reserve. In 1951 I was recalled to fight in Korea and roughly fifteen years ago I was informed I was appointed radar engineer and was attached to an AA battery stationed at Hardwick Green, Manchester. I have not yet been notified of my formal demobilisation and at 87 years of age I wonder if I am one of the Army's oldest reservists
