A Battle Field a Crimson tide
The bloood of countless men who died
We met and fought a pointless war
Because some madmen wanted more.
I say we met as there were others too
An enemy on an unknown shore
We all arrived on an unknown shore
To fight and die in pointless war.
Poppies grow where we all died
So you can see the crimson tide
Like the blood of men who are no more
Because we fought in pointless war.
So buy a poppy wear it with pride
And remember all of us who died
Yes them as well for they live no more
Because they met us in pointless war.
Sop listen to our ghostly yell
Don't re-enact our blood and gore
Strive for peace not blood and gore
Try not to start a pointless war
Don't build machines that kill and maim
Instead aid each other to heal the pain
So we cam rest in peace evermore
For no more will join us through pointless war.
