'Price of Freedom'
by George Smith

Against our Russian allies,
The enemy have met,
That same unequalled spirit,
Which is unbeaten yet.

Those countries in a ghastly way,
Are venting all their hate,
And thus the battle rages on,
To bring about one's fate.

The German mass is waning,
'Neath colossal sacrifice,
But our allies fight devotedly,
For freedom as the price.
