Mr. John Bridges of the Gloucester regiment (St. Michael鈥檚 hill, Bristol). 1914-1918.
This photograph was submitted by Mrs Sylvia Young from Bristol.
Mr John Bridges in dress uniform of the Gloucester regiment. Perhaps home on leave. He served in the Somme and in Ypres.
Many men drowned in the mud. He witnessed the death of his own brother in the trenches.
