Rationing was pretty bad, but we coped, it was a case of having to, you realised what was happening. Some people tried to beat the rationing with black market stuff and all this, but I think it was very fair to everybody. Clothing coupons seemed to be shared about more than anything, people would say 鈥淲ell, I don鈥檛 need this,鈥 and particularly among relatives, and some people would sell them too make money on them.
