My twin brother and I were outside playing in the grass field when this Mosquito (I knew it by the shape) came over the house. It was spiralling and twisting down making a droning noise. I remember it distinctly. It crashed near the 40 foot drain and it鈥檚 still in the ground. I didn鈥檛 see the plane but the place is difficult to access now. It was too far for us to go then but my Uncle Ray went to see it. I think the pilot is still with his plane. My brother and I were only speaking about it recently because we heard of another Mosquito crash on the news and the pilot had been given a proper funeral.
