I lived in Saltley. Morris鈥檚 Commercial Factory was at the back of the garden. I remember that there was an anti- aircraft gun that would keep everyone awake at night. I went to Olton and was not sure if it was much safer. One day I came back in the morning and upon arriving I found out that a bomb had landed by my mum鈥檚 hairdressing salon just 10 metres away!-
