It all was seen in a little minning village in glassgow. Bill was woken up by his mum and dad and told to go out side to see that glassgow docks the sight was like the sun going down on the herizon. It was also upsetting because they could see the docks going up in flames and the airoplanes just keep on boming the noises were like thunder it was terrifing because they were so loud. In the morning they use to go to school and thats all the children use to talk about is what happened the night before. every week a train use to come in to the town with evacuees, every one from the village use to go to the train station and pick a boy of girl to join the family and to make them as welcome as possible every one helped every one, the community spirit was amazing. Even at school the children were the same they all stuck together even if there were jews or some one they didn't know they use to make everyone welcome.
