During the war my dad was stationed abroad and he loved to tell us about his army days and in particular this story.
They were on the move and my father was caught short and needed to spend a penny. They jumped off the lorry and went behind the hedges in the field. Unbeknowns to him there was a sniper in the trees. He took a pot shot at dad relieving himself. Dad said he ran like hell with his trousers round his ankles! Bet that wasn't very fast! He didn't get hit though.
