Mrs Stark came to our school and told us about the World War 2 stories she remembered.
She was a small child in the war. She lived in Newtonmore in the war.

The soldiers marched down her street and came in her house to get tea, coffee, baths, biscuits etc. The soldiers rolled half pennies to her. She enjoyed them playing with her but a little scared.
The soldiers sat on the path and had their refreshments.
