My father was Brigadier Rymel Watts Lymer, who died some time ago, taking with him all of his wartime memories. He was in the Eighth Army and was involved in planning the invasion of Europe towards the end of the war. He must have made many military contacts, and if anyone knows of my father or has any background knowledge of his exploits, please share this information with his youngest son (now almost 60 years of age.)He served with Monty and Brian Horrocks in the Eighth Army in Egypt, Italy, etc.
