Between 1945 and 1946 I was in the Navy on HMS Artifex. We went to Hong Kong after we were in the Phillipines.
Here, we repaired the Hong Kong Hospital after the Japs. It was the longest serving ship to serve Hong Kong (four years).
We had fun playing football for the ship's team.
