1939-45 Star, The War Medal
Awarded for a minimum of 28 days’ active service in a war zone

Atlantic Star
For being on Naval convoys to Russia,

Burma Star
For being in the Army in India) This was for fighting against the Japanese, I fort against both, the Japanese and the Germans!

Defence medal

Victory medal
To say we won!

Russian Medal
I received this in 1985. This was thanking me for 40 years of peace. We received a nice letter from the Russian Embassy thanking us for what we did in the war and wishing us and our families well.
