This story is submitted by a volunteer on behalf of radio Bristol Action Desk at City of Bristol College.

At the age of ten Jill was evacuated to Coventry during the school holidays. Having no parents I was billeted out to a family. The main memory after a night of sheer terror sheltering in an Anderson shelter was walking into a street which was unrecognisable and seeing a decapitated womans head with curlers in it. The terror of this still haunts. Please THIS MUST NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.
