Here is a picture of my father and mother on honeymoon in Norfolk 1940. My father missed D-Day and got 2nd prize by being posted to Northern Norway to work his way south to Oslo in moving the Germans out of Norway.
He never really liked talking about this part of the war. It would be of immense interest if there are any other veterans of this campaign who were in the Royal Artillery and might remember a Captain Evans.
