I lived in a children鈥檚 home when the air raid was on, all the children that were upstairs had to do downstairs and get under the beds until the all clear. During one raid I was attending a concert 鈥淥ld Father Thames鈥, one of the group of entertainers went outside for a cigarette and got hit by shrapnel and died.
