V1 Damage in Pirton, Hertfordshire.
The damage caused by the second of two V1 Doodle-Bugs to land in the small village of Pirton, Hertfordshire.
It was in the Toot Hill area of Pirton, on the trees next to the church, about five hundred yards from the house of the young Ken Burton, at about four in the morning.
Ken brought this picture into the British Schools Museum and it is submitted with his permission.
