Message 1 - Re: Doodlebug attack

Posted on: 26 November 2005 by Peter - WW2 Site Helper

Dear Patrick

Is that a typing error, or do you really mean 1942? There were no doodlebugs in 1942. The first V1 to strike London fell in Bethnal Green at 4.18 am on 12 June 1944.

Regards,
Peter Ghiringhelli
