I was about 5 years old and walking with my mother to my grandma's house for Sunday lunch.
It was a beautiful sunny day and we had been walking for a while through some fields when my mum shouted "Down Jean". She pushed me down to the ground and we both lay there still.
The familiar sound of planes suddenly broke the silence as they flew over head. We waited until they were long gone and then quickly walked the rest of the way to my Grandma's house.
I was scared but happy that nothing bad had happened.
