'C' troop gun pit 1/11/1939 La Coguere. Hitler is expected to march on the Low Countries
I know little of my father's war time experiences but thought the accompanying photographs would be of interest.
My father was in the Terrirotial Army and was called up into the Royal Artillery at the age of 40
As can be seen he was a prisoner-of-war for five years during which time he was hospitalixed suffering from malnutrition and diphtheria.
