V.E.Party

On No. 1 photograph the girl on the bottom right of the picture is Barbara Mottram who also lived in St. Thomas Road but alas although I know most the girls and boys I can鈥檛 remember their names (they were just that younger) my friends of that area like myself were at work but we did get together in the evening for the V.E. Celebration in Birmingham city centre.

We the Woodward family, mom, dad, myself and John (my brother Keith who I mentioned was later in Army SIB and was on security at Sir Winston Churchill鈥檚 funeral) also my younger brother David was 7 years old he was tat the V.E. party but not as I could see on the photo. We lived at no 9 St. Thomas Road.
