My memories of the bombing ofcoventry and the surrounding area still very clear.
Several air raids took place prior to the one in November.I was in the middle of town and was in the very first one.Iwaswaiting for a Tram to take me to Bedworth I got on the one when it stopped and sat down.The tram commenced its journey up Bishop st suddenly down came the bombs one landed close enough to blow the tram along the track we all jumped off safely and ran along Foleshill Rd still being in the bombed area.
