My name in 1939 was Rene Anne Gould and I lived with my parents in Camberwell, attending Crawford Road School. Our house was damaged during the war. I had no brothers and sisters. I was evacuated with my school to Linkinhorne in Cornwall, near Callington. I kept in touch with my host family after the war. Later on I was re-evacuated back to Cornwall. My parents visited me 3 times during my evacuation.
