We used to play hide and seek and tick.
The thing my mum thought was naughty was when we used to rap door knockers and run off.
It was safe to be on the streets, there were few cars.
We used to skip.
My mum would take four of us to the pictures for a treat on a Saturday night.
She's buy roe and then cook it for a treat also on a Saturday night.
Me and my brother and youngest sister went gooseberry scrumping. When the sirens went off we had to go to the shelter. We took all our gooseberries with us to eat and I felt ill afterwards.
