If, like yours truly, you have spent an awful lot of time on this site during the past two years, you are more than likely to suffer from withdrawal symptoms after Jan 31st 2006 which is the date from which this site will no longer take further entries.
The ´óÏó´«Ã½ WW2 Peoples War (to give it its full title) promises to be a first class archive and I’ve no doubt whatsoever that the ´óÏó´«Ã½ will keep its promise.
What we, as ‘customers’ will lose however is the ability to ask questions and carry on discussions about the history of those frenetic times.
Listed below are a few sites that you might consider using after ‘archive’ day.
1. The new WW2 Blogsite:
About links
(Please note that this is not operative until Feb 2006)
This new site will hopefully cater for all those who have been using the existing ´óÏó´«Ã½ site for serious discussion and research into WW2. Old and new friends are very welcome.
2. The famous h2g2 at: About links
The 'sister' site that was linked closely to the People's War site and duplicated everyone's Personal Page.
3. WW2 Forum at:
About links
Another well run WW2 site that already has contributions from users of this site.
4. The ´óÏó´«Ã½ History site. About links
