1 Shot at -and only three years old
鈥淚 lived on Foster Road near Catton and mother was an A.R.P. I was three and playing outside when a German plane came over and shot at us because we were playing near the soldiers. I remember the bullets hitting the ground and a soldier pulling me down to the ground for safety.鈥
2.Uncle trying to get into the Shelter
鈥1942, the Norwich blitz. My uncle was a 鈥榯ail end Charlie鈥 in the Lancaster bomber - a rear gunner. I remember him banging on the air raid shelter to get in the night of the blitz. I was only two.鈥
3 Trapped in the Submarine
鈥淢y dad was a sub-lieutenant in the Royal Navy he was trapped in his submarine on the bottom of a fiord for three days 鈥 he got out鈥
