There was no problem that couldn鈥檛 be solved over a cuppa, a lemonade or a pint. There was no fighting, everyone really pulled together. One example was that a feller used to keep chickens, one day one went missing so he came up the lane looking for it, accusing everyone, saying he could smell it cooking. We never found it, I think we all knew who it was but never said anything.
