"This story was submitted to the people's War site by CSV/大象传媒 Radio Nottingham on behalf of Christine Williams with her permission. The author fully understands the site's tems and conditions".

My mother-in-law, Mrs. Kate Williams was going to Fishponds, Bristol pushing the pram with her baby son Nick Williams in 1942. As she was crossing the laundry field behind Manor Park Hospital an aircraft started firing and she had to lie down next to the pram. Nick stayed asleep throughout the noise she said!
