The car is probably a Wolsley which we had to drive, together with tiny "bugs" as we called them, Tillys (like a Jeep), lorries and the occasional ambulance. We had to understand how the engine worked and how to deal with it if something went wrong and also how to change a wheel. From the look of my grubby hands I must have been tackling a dirty job!
