I was flying over Juno Beach, watching allied soldiers being shot and dying. I was there with Kieth Barber in a Mosquito bomber. We were on a mission to take photos of enemy strong holds to have them bombed later that day. I took a photo out of the cockpit of a suspected bunker. It was a bunker and it was heavily defended. The surrounding anti-aircraft guns shot us down and Keith was killed in the crash I was wounded and had to sleep under a tree for three days before being picked up by passing allied soilders, those three days felt like three years.
