My Mum and Dad lived at Hilders Bungalow, Redding Street on the Appledore Road out of Tenterden.
Dad was in the Home Guard in Tenterden Church spires looking out for German Bombers. Then we moved to Oak Farm, Snargate.
On the opposite side of the road there were forty eight sheep all lying down having a sleep. One day there was a raid and they all got killed, blown to pieces.
