A long time ago in World War 2, lived a young girl called Ivy. Now she is 71 but in very good health. Ivy goes to many different clubs such as a computer club with Neil, they also go to a dinner club and many different more clubs.
In the war Ivy was the oldest in her family so had to help with the little children in her family. Ivy heard the siren when she was out playing so it was a bit frightening for her.
Ivy had rushed into her home and helped get everything together. When she got in the air raid shelter she got a hard biscuit to eat but she couldn鈥檛 eat it because it was so hard .But Ivy didn鈥檛 know that she could have just put her biscuit in her tea which would have made it softer.
Ivy was 8 years old when all this had happened so even though she was the eldest it would have still frightened her, so it was very hard for Ivy.
