This story was submitted to the People's War website by Louise Angell of the CSV Action desk at 大象传媒 Radio Derby on behalf of A.A. Marshall. The authour fully understands the sites terms and conditions.

When I was about 7, I remember going from South Normanton in Derbyshire, to stay at my aunties in Derby and while I was there she took me to see a German Meshersmit that had crashed at Derby. I remember going under the wings and picking some little discs off the wings. I kept them for a long time but they finally got lost.
