When I was serving in the British Army in Germany towards the end of WW2, we were all told that information had come through, that something big and unusual was expected.
We all went in military vehicles for a few miles and then to our horror and surprise saw what we soon learned afterwards was a large camp. It was unbelievable. Heaps of skeletons, dead bodies, etc.
The smell was indescribable just hours afterwards the British Army medical units were there.
We were all formed up in single file stripped to the waist and had six injections in each arm.
After the media kit had been and taken photos, our flame-throwers tanks went in and burnt most of it up, because of danger of disease.
