Christmas leave

A pass I received for the purpose of Christmas leave.

It reads:

If a Calling-out of the whole Army Reserve is ordered every soldier on pass must return immediately to his unit without waiting for instructions.

Regiment: Shropshire Yeomanry

Reg Bowyer has permission to be absent from his quarters/duty from 12.00 hrs 29.12.39 to 18.15 hrs 5.1.40 for the purpose of proceeding on Xmas leave. Station Crewe. Signed Commanding J.L Davenport.

Just in case you don't get around to posting a picture of Reg's pass he might like to see one of my own passes that has the same wording at the top regarding the calling out of the Army Reserve.
