At Sunday School, pupils were aksked to invite or adopt a Canadian Soldier to our home, they were camped in the \new \forest prior to D Day In February 1944 y 3 brothers came to Sunday ta and they could visit whnever they had a day off and came to \\lymington Town Hampshire. The Canadian Soldier named Ralph had a camera which ou family did not have, We were out to play in the Close with dolls prams when he came rpound the corner and snapped us . Then prensented us with a photo of him on hiws tank . On my carigan I hadred white and blue patriotic buttons . On thieir return to Canada the three brothers sent o photo of themselves at home in Civilian Cloths.
