CATHERINE AND ROBERT LACEY

Location: BIRKENHEAD; HARLECH;
TALSARNAU, NORTH WALES

Evacuated from Cole Street School, Birkenhead, to Harlech and Talsarnau.

Separated and sent to different farms.

Catherine stayed with Mr and Mrs Evans, their daughter Mairwen, and Grandmother (Nain) at (White House Farm) until 1944.

Robert stayed with Mr and Mrs Jones at Ty Mawr.

The Welsh people made us very welcome and we still remember them with great affection.
