As a boy my father and his friends would tell me about their better times in the army. The good comradeship was at the heart of things. All were volunteers from the Belfast area and ended up in the jungles of Burma for four to five years with all its many dangers. I can't help but thinking that to-day they are a forgotten army. Would welcome any information.
