at The Cooperative building in Castle St, Bristol - one of only two buildings left standing after all the Bristol bombing.
Ken had previously joined up at HMS Raleigh (probably in 41/42) and was allowed compassionate leave to get married, as was Connie
Only 40 guests were allowed at the wedding at that time - due to rationing.
