Louie and I Dorothy would like if possible to contact friends who were evacuated to Ilkley at the beginning of the war in September 1939 from Brudenill School .
The names include
Violet Beardow Cyril and Mavis Dennison, Harry Pollard, Eric Noble, Reggie and Jeffrey Leeming, Kenneth Davis, Dennis Bennett, Joyce Vaiter, Maud Reed, Stanley Hopton, Michael Horsefall, Lucy Collinson, Eileen or Irene Goodyear, Eileen Benn one of a large family. If any of Eileen鈥檚 brothers are still alive and remember Louie and I would contact either of us we would be very pleased. I kept in touch with Eileen after she married and moved to live down south, when sadly we lost touch, partly my doing as I went through a sad time. Now back to my list. Margaret and Joan Wellburn, or Welbourne. Eileen and Marjorie Atkinson, Betty Asko, Maureen Swithenbank, Connie Hamilton, Joyce and Jackie Airey.
