My eldest sister was married and I was the youngest child in our family, aged seven. I can remember that we had an air raid shelter in our garden.
My mother came out of Mill Road Hospital one day before it was bombed in the May Blitz!
My eldest sister is 90 years old, and all our other sisters are still alive today.
