Paul is wishing confirmation/ seeking verification that Smoke Screen producing lorries were located along Belstead Road, between Belstead Road and Goldrood, in Ipswich.

What was their purpose?

They seemed to burn oily rags to produce the required effect.
Were they ever really used in anger?
He can be contacted on Ipswich 01473 690149 if anyone can confirm his story, and give him more information on what they were doing.
