HMS Implacable, aircraft carrier, entering Vancouver harbour, Canada November 1945

The ship was carrying British prisoners of war that had been liberated from the Pacific. Eileen Hynam鈥檚 husband, Frank (Able Seaman) met a Bristol lady who had emigrated to Vancouver and she made him meals and took him out and about to different places.
