Irene was 11 years old when WW2 started. Irene was not scared during the war even though bombs dropped down for nine nights. For fun Irene went to the old picture houses, and also put rope over the lamp posts with a tyre for a seat, and used them for a swing. Irene wore a navy-blue blouse,and in 1939
