my father served on u123 under commander reinhard hardigaun from around 1942 to the time he was captured in the English Channel.As a POW he was sent to the Aberdeenshire area where he met my mother.The exploits of u123 are well documented in the series on the 大象传媒 programme The Battle of the Atlantic any feedback would be most welcome.Mr fred schorn.
