This badge was submitted to those blinded in the war. St Dunstans was where people were retrained.
At St Dunstans Mr Fredrick Thomas Morgan became the first person who was blinded during the war. He was trained as a telephonist, he refused to train as a basket weaver as he wanted to earn his own living independently.
