Staff Sergeant Instructor George Thorne caught in the act here doing his own 鈥渄鈥檋obi-ing鈥 (washing)! D鈥檋obi boys were often employed to do the washing for the soldiers. They were local Arab boys who received a small payment for doing the work. Date unknown, approx. 1943.
