I was child refugee from Singapore in January 1942, leaving by flying boat for Australia.
I would very much like to get in touch with anyone else who left by air at that time.

I am also writing the biography of Elizabeth Alexander, geologist and physicist, who worked in RDF at Singapore Naval Base from 1937 - 1942. Amongst others, she worked with two Royal Naval Officers,
1. Bobby Griffiths on HMS Survey Ship Herald before the war and HMS Challenger after the war.
2. Geoff Whittaker who also worked in RDF/Radar. Because of secrecy at the time, I do not know what his official work was.
I would very much like to hear from anyone who may have worked in RDF at the Base or Kranji, whether or not they knew these two officers.
