This is a story my grandma passed down to me. Grandparents (Mr. + Mrs Milton) uncle (Bernard) Mother (Hilary). It was the early part of the war, and the air raid sirens had gone off. My grandparents and uncle were ready to set off to the shelter but they could not find my mother (who was about 1 year old) they spent a few minutes looking for her, then some one saw the curtain twitch and there was my mother curled up asleep on the window sill.
